Coffee Guide

Looking for a place to kick back and enjoy a great coffee?  Some of Jacksonville's best local spots are listed below, in alphabetical order. We included Dunkin Donuts of NE FL because they're awesome and they did an interview with us. Starbucks is awesome too and you can find their locations here.

1. Bold Bean Coffee Roasters
… (904) 855-1181 … 869 Stockton Street
 map> reviews>

Bold Bean was voted Best Coffeehouse in Jacksonville in 2013 by readers of Folio Weekly. Stephen Dare, Food Editor at Metro Jacksonville, calls Bold Bean "one of the top 10 coffeehouses in the United States."

Bold Bean roasts their own beans in-house. Although they can prepare coffee in all the standard ways, they're big proponents of single drip coffee, enjoyed black in order to appreciate the subtleties of the bean and the magic in the roasting.

Bold Bean is becoming a local gathering spot to relax, converse or enjoy the live music that is put on regularly. Beer and wine, along with some food, are also served.

A favorite of Jax Beach locals. Unique and tasty food. Kimchi on an egg sandwich anyone? They serve their amazing Strongtree and George Howell coffee in giant glass steins with organic cream. Delicomb has proven so popular that it's bursting at the seams and will be making a short move to a bigger place at 102 6th Avenue North (next to the Casa Marina) in the Fall.

… (904) 384-9960 … 741 Cassat Avenue map>

These Dunkin's are working hard to transform themselves into meeting places, very much like Starbucks has done. Following a major interior design upgrade they now have a large room that can be booked for business meetings, parties or even family movie nights (with the giant TV). The interior encourages people to hang out, talk with friends, or relax and get some work done. With a wide variety of coffee options and a large menu that includes gluten free options, this is a whole new Dunkin.
