Bottega can be your personal chef with our fresh or frozen meals-to-go that come in oven and microwave safe containers with easy to follow directions on the lid. 2. What makes Bottega special?
It is hard to find good take away food and ours is excellent, as anyone who has tried Catering By Liz knows. We continually come up with new recipes as well as keeping the old favorites our customers have come to love. Our seafood dishes are especially popular. Catering by Liz was awarded Jacksonville Magazine's 2010 Caterer of the Year.
3. What sort of food do you serve?
A wide range of food from more traditional food, to Asian, curry, vegetarian, Spanish, and French cuisines, and more.
4. Where do your recipes come from?
Mostly from me, Liz Grenamyer. I run Catering by Liz where our food creations are available for special events.
5. What are your top 3 recommendations for someone new to the Bottega?
We have a lot of new recipes all the time, so I'd have to say that the first recommendation is to try out something new. We do have some regular favorites too.

6. What can you recommend to someone looking for something a little different?
Our Seared Tuna over Asian Slaw is a favorite here at Bottega where we sear Ahi tuna and serve it over a slaw made of cabbage, cilantro, and bell pepper with a sauce flavored by honey, ginger, sesame, soy, and rice wine vinegar.
7. What's the most popular dish?
Southern Shrimp and Creamy Grits scratches the itch for Southern comfort food.
8. What's your favorite dish?
One of my favorites is our Pretzel Crusted Chicken with a mustard cream reduction.
9. Can you tell us about the name of your business?
We used to be called Bottega di Bella Sera. A Bottega is a shop and Bella Sera means "beautiful evening." There are two areas of the business - the take out shop and the party room, so our original name was to capture those two sides of the business. But with our emphasis on catering and prepared take-out we thought that Bottega by Liz Grenamyer suited us better. We're in the process of making the change-over now so you may still see both of our names around.
10. Do you have an eat-in area?
The Bella Sera is a dining room for parties. Otherwise, we're strictly take-out.
11. What do you carry in your store?
We do have a small store. We carry both frozen and refrigerated entrees, sides and desserts. We also have a few special items such as a locally made BBQ sauce, home made crackers and other similar items. We also have a nice selection of wine to go with your dinner.
12. How can someone find out the menu for the day?
We have a daily email you can sign up to receive (by sending an email to email@example.com). We also post our menus on our BLOG and on our Facebook page. If you see something that you really want you can give us a call and we'll put it aside for you.
